You need: membership form (download or online onboarding form), copy of national ID, kRA PIN and passport photo. Expect a registration fee of KSh 1,000 and a minimum monthly saving of KSh 2,500. You can apply online on SaccoLink and we'll send your application to AIBK.

Loans are for members. How long you must save first, how much you can borrow against your deposits, and how many guarantors you need are set by AIBK, so ask a branch for the loan form and current terms. If you need a guarantor from AIBK, its SaccoLink guarantor board lets members guarantee each other.

Give AIBK written notice. Deposits are usually refunded after a notice period once your loans and any guarantees you have given are cleared. Share capital is normally not refunded, but you can sell it to another member, for example on SaccoLink.

Yes. AIBK is on SASRA's 2026 list of SACCOs authorised to take non-withdrawable deposits: members save deposits and share capital and borrow against them, but it doesn't run withdrawable (FOSA) accounts.
