Amica: questions members ask

What is the Amica Paybill number?

Amica hasn't published a Paybill number that we could confirm on its official channels. Visit any Amica office to ask.

How do I check my Amica balance?

Where is Amica's head office?

Amica's head office is at Mugama Union Building – Uhuru Road, Murang’a, Murang’a County.

How do I join Amica?

Bring your national ID and KRA PIN; Amica will tell you anything else it needs. You can apply online on SaccoLink and we'll send your application to Amica.

How do I get a loan from Amica?

Loans are for members. How long you must save first, how much you can borrow against your deposits, and how many guarantors you need are set by Amica, so ask a branch for the loan form and current terms. If you need a guarantor from Amica, its SaccoLink guarantor board lets members guarantee each other.

How do I leave Amica or withdraw my savings?

Give Amica written notice. Deposits are usually refunded after a notice period once your loans and any guarantees you have given are cleared. Share capital is normally not refunded, but you can sell it to another member, for example on SaccoLink.

Is Amica licensed by SASRA?

Yes. Amica is on SASRA's list of SACCOs licensed to take deposits (FOSA) for 2026, so it can offer withdrawable savings accounts as well as loans.
