How do I join EPZA?

You need: completed membership application form, copy of National ID or Passport and copy of KRA PIN certificate. Expect a registration fee of KSh 500, minimum share capital of KSh 10,000 and a minimum monthly saving of KSh 1,500. You can apply online on SaccoLink and we'll send your application to EPZA.

How do I get a loan from EPZA?

Loans are for members. How long you must save first, how much you can borrow against your deposits, and how many guarantors you need are set by EPZA, so ask a branch for the loan form and current terms. If you need a guarantor from EPZA, its SaccoLink guarantor board lets members guarantee each other.

How do I leave EPZA or withdraw my savings?

Give EPZA written notice. Deposits are usually refunded after a notice period once your loans and any guarantees you have given are cleared. Share capital is normally not refunded, but you can sell it to another member, for example on SaccoLink.

Is EPZA licensed by SASRA?

Yes. EPZA is on SASRA's 2026 list of SACCOs authorised to take non-withdrawable deposits: members save deposits and share capital and borrow against them, but it doesn't run withdrawable (FOSA) accounts.
