Jamii's head office is at Jamii Sacco Court, Mukenia Road, South B, Nairobi, Nairobi County.

You need: completed membership application form, copy of Kenyan National ID or valid Kenyan passport, copy of KRA PIN certificate, coloured passport-size photograph, entrance fee KES 1,000 and open a FOSA account (free). Expect a registration fee of KSh 1,000. You can apply online on SaccoLink and we'll send your application to Jamii.

Loans are for members. How long you must save first, how much you can borrow against your deposits, and how many guarantors you need are set by Jamii, so ask a branch for the loan form and current terms. If you need a guarantor from Jamii, its SaccoLink guarantor board lets members guarantee each other.

Give Jamii written notice. Deposits are usually refunded after a notice period once your loans and any guarantees you have given are cleared. Share capital is normally not refunded, but you can sell it to another member, for example on SaccoLink.

Yes. Jamii is on SASRA's list of SACCOs licensed to take deposits (FOSA) for 2026, so it can offer withdrawable savings accounts as well as loans.
