You need: identity card/Passport - original and copy, passport photo (taken at the branch), letter of introduction from employer / employment letter OR County Government of Mombasa payslip and registration fee Ksh 500. Expect a registration fee of KSh 500. You can apply online on SaccoLink and we'll send your application to Jitegemee.

Loans are for members. How long you must save first, how much you can borrow against your deposits, and how many guarantors you need are set by Jitegemee, so ask a branch for the loan form and current terms. If you need a guarantor from Jitegemee, its SaccoLink guarantor board lets members guarantee each other.

Give Jitegemee written notice. Deposits are usually refunded after a notice period once your loans and any guarantees you have given are cleared. Share capital is normally not refunded, but you can sell it to another member, for example on SaccoLink.

Yes. Jitegemee is on SASRA's list of SACCOs licensed to take deposits (FOSA) for 2026, so it can offer withdrawable savings accounts as well as loans.
