Kilele: questions members ask

What is the Kilele Paybill number?

Kilele hasn't published a Paybill number that we could confirm on its official channels. Visit any Kilele office to ask.

How do I check my Kilele balance?

Ask Kilele for a statement or about its mobile banking options. Visit any Kilele office to ask.

Where is Kilele's head office?

Kilele's head office is at KUSCCO Centre, Along Kilimanjaro Avenue, Upper Hill, Nairobi, Nairobi County.

How do I join Kilele?

Bring your national ID and KRA PIN; Kilele will tell you anything else it needs. You can apply online on SaccoLink and we'll send your application to Kilele.

How do I get a loan from Kilele?

Loans are for members. How long you must save first, how much you can borrow against your deposits, and how many guarantors you need are set by Kilele, so ask a branch for the loan form and current terms. If you need a guarantor from Kilele, its SaccoLink guarantor board lets members guarantee each other.

How do I leave Kilele or withdraw my savings?

Give Kilele written notice. Deposits are usually refunded after a notice period once your loans and any guarantees you have given are cleared. Share capital is normally not refunded, but you can sell it to another member, for example on SaccoLink.

Is Kilele licensed by SASRA?

Yes. Kilele is on SASRA's 2026 list of SACCOs authorised to take non-withdrawable deposits: members save deposits and share capital and borrow against them, but it doesn't run withdrawable (FOSA) accounts.
