How do I join Limlak?

You need: valid Kenyan ID card / Passport, passport size photo, duly filled registration form and kRA PIN certificate. Expect minimum share capital of KSh 5,000. You can apply online on SaccoLink and we'll send your application to Limlak.

How do I get a loan from Limlak?

Loans are for members. How long you must save first, how much you can borrow against your deposits, and how many guarantors you need are set by Limlak, so ask a branch for the loan form and current terms. If you need a guarantor from Limlak, its SaccoLink guarantor board lets members guarantee each other.

How do I leave Limlak or withdraw my savings?

Give Limlak written notice. Deposits are usually refunded after a notice period once your loans and any guarantees you have given are cleared. Share capital is normally not refunded, but you can sell it to another member, for example on SaccoLink.

Is Limlak licensed by SASRA?

Yes. Limlak is on SASRA's 2026 list of SACCOs authorised to take non-withdrawable deposits: members save deposits and share capital and borrow against them, but it doesn't run withdrawable (FOSA) accounts.
