How do I join Rubani?

You need: online member self-registration (member portal), entrance fee Ksh 3,000 and share capital Ksh 10,000. Expect a registration fee of KSh 3,000 and minimum share capital of KSh 10,000. You can apply online on SaccoLink and we'll send your application to Rubani.

How do I get a loan from Rubani?

Loans are for members. How long you must save first, how much you can borrow against your deposits, and how many guarantors you need are set by Rubani, so ask a branch for the loan form and current terms. If you need a guarantor from Rubani, its SaccoLink guarantor board lets members guarantee each other.

How do I leave Rubani or withdraw my savings?

Give Rubani written notice. Deposits are usually refunded after a notice period once your loans and any guarantees you have given are cleared. Share capital is normally not refunded, but you can sell it to another member, for example on SaccoLink.

Is Rubani licensed by SASRA?

Yes. Rubani is on SASRA's 2026 list of SACCOs authorised to take non-withdrawable deposits: members save deposits and share capital and borrow against them, but it doesn't run withdrawable (FOSA) accounts.
