Thamani has 6 offices in Chuka, Cheera, Chogoria, Kathwana, Kibugua and Marima. The head office is at Thamani House, Chuka Town.

You need: original ID or Passport (sighted), completed application, specimen signature, recent passport photo, iD copies, registration certificate (business entities) and signed terms and conditions. You can apply online on SaccoLink and we'll send your application to Thamani.

Loans are for members. How long you must save first, how much you can borrow against your deposits, and how many guarantors you need are set by Thamani, so ask a branch for the loan form and current terms. If you need a guarantor from Thamani, its SaccoLink guarantor board lets members guarantee each other.

Give Thamani written notice. Deposits are usually refunded after a notice period once your loans and any guarantees you have given are cleared. Share capital is normally not refunded, but you can sell it to another member, for example on SaccoLink.

Yes. Thamani is on SASRA's list of SACCOs licensed to take deposits (FOSA) for 2026, so it can offer withdrawable savings accounts as well as loans.
