You need: completed Application for Membership form, aged 18 or over, within the common bond (employees of acceptable organizations admitted by the Board); spouse, children over 18 and parents in the member's household also eligible, entrance fee KES 1,000, share capital as prescribed in the by-laws and not a member of another SACCO with similar purpose. How long you must save first, how much you can borrow against your deposits, and how many guarantors you need are set by Ufanisi, so ask a branch for the loan form and current terms.
