The Ushuru M-Pesa Paybill number is 892800. Use Your ID (number) as the account number.

How do I top up my Ushuru shares or deposits?

Go to M-Pesa, Lipa na M-Pesa, Pay Bill, enter business number 892800, then the account. Use Your ID (number) as the account number. Keep the M-Pesa message as your receipt.

How do I check my Ushuru balance?

You can dial *688# and log in with your member details to see your deposits, shares and loan balance. If you haven't registered for mobile banking, register at any Ushuru branch.

How do I join Ushuru?

Bring your national ID and KRA PIN; Ushuru will tell you anything else it needs. You can apply online on SaccoLink and we'll send your application to Ushuru.

How do I get a loan from Ushuru?

Loans are for members. How long you must save first, how much you can borrow against your deposits, and how many guarantors you need are set by Ushuru, so ask a branch for the loan form and current terms. If you need a guarantor from Ushuru, its SaccoLink guarantor board lets members guarantee each other.

How do I leave Ushuru or withdraw my savings?

Give Ushuru written notice. Deposits are usually refunded after a notice period once your loans and any guarantees you have given are cleared. Share capital is normally not refunded, but you can sell it to another member, for example on SaccoLink.

Is Ushuru licensed by SASRA?

Yes. Ushuru is on SASRA's list of SACCOs licensed to take deposits (FOSA) for 2026, so it can offer withdrawable savings accounts as well as loans.
