Wanaanga's head office is at Kenya Meteorological Department, Ngong Road, Dag- oretti, Nairobi County.

You need: completely filled member application form (New Membership Joining Form), two copies of ID/Passport, one passport-size photo, introductory letter from employer or a Sacco member, registration fee KES 1,000 + EBF KES 200 (non-refundable) and minimum 250 shares at KES 20 (KES 5,000). Expect a registration fee of KSh 1,000 and minimum share capital of KSh 5,000. You can apply online on SaccoLink and we'll send your application to Wanaanga.

Loans are for members. How long you must save first, how much you can borrow against your deposits, and how many guarantors you need are set by Wanaanga, so ask a branch for the loan form and current terms. If you need a guarantor from Wanaanga, its SaccoLink guarantor board lets members guarantee each other.

Give Wanaanga written notice. Deposits are usually refunded after a notice period once your loans and any guarantees you have given are cleared. Share capital is normally not refunded, but you can sell it to another member, for example on SaccoLink.
