Wasado: questions members ask

What is the Wasado Paybill number?

Wasado hasn't published a Paybill number that we could confirm on its official channels. Visit any Wasado office to ask.

How do I check my Wasado balance?

Ask Wasado for a statement or about its mobile banking options. Visit any Wasado office to ask.

Where is Wasado's head office?

Wasado's head office is at KCB Building Industrial Area, 3rd Floor, Nairobi, Nairobi County.

How do I join Wasado?

Bring your national ID and KRA PIN; Wasado will tell you anything else it needs. You can apply online on SaccoLink and we'll send your application to Wasado.

How do I get a loan from Wasado?

Loans are for members. How long you must save first, how much you can borrow against your deposits, and how many guarantors you need are set by Wasado, so ask a branch for the loan form and current terms. If you need a guarantor from Wasado, its SaccoLink guarantor board lets members guarantee each other.

How do I leave Wasado or withdraw my savings?

Give Wasado written notice. Deposits are usually refunded after a notice period once your loans and any guarantees you have given are cleared. Share capital is normally not refunded, but you can sell it to another member, for example on SaccoLink.

Is Wasado licensed by SASRA?

Yes. Wasado is on SASRA's 2026 list of SACCOs authorised to take non-withdrawable deposits: members save deposits and share capital and borrow against them, but it doesn't run withdrawable (FOSA) accounts.
