How to check your SACCO balance: USSD codes, apps and statements

Check your SACCO deposits, shares and loan balance by USSD, app or statement, with USSD codes for 109 Kenyan SACCOs.

Most SACCOs let you check your balance from your phone, without visiting a branch. You need the phone number registered with the SACCO and a mobile banking PIN.

Three ways to check your SACCO balance

1. USSD: dial your SACCO's code (it works on any phone, no data needed), enter your PIN and choose balance enquiry or mini statement.
2. The SACCO's app: many SACCOs have an Android app. Download it only from the link on the SACCO's own website or Google Play.
3. Ask for a statement: visit or call a branch. A full statement also shows loans you have guaranteed for other members.

Visit a branch with your ID. The SACCO links your phone number and you set a PIN. Never share that PIN or the one-time codes the SACCO sends, even with someone claiming to be SACCO staff.
